Woman accused of ‘living in 1940’ as she explains ‘how to keep a man happy’

A woman who claims that in order to keep a man happy, their wives should wear dresses and keep the house tidy has sparked outrage on TikTok, as her video went viral

A woman has divided opinions online for her controversial tips on how to keep a man happy.

The woman shared the controversial advice on TikTok, where she posts under the username @girlygirluk, where people have criticised her for being outdated.

“A man isn’t really hard to please,” she said in the video, which has since gone viral, racking up more than 3.5 million views.

“Feed him, kiss him, wear dresses, get flirty, be his best friend, make home a paradise, shower compliments.”

She then went on to say that keeping a man happy is “not so hard” to do – if you follow her advice.

Since being posted, the video has racked up more than 92,000 likes and almost 23,000 comments, many from viewers who disagree with her beliefs and said she was living in the wrong decade.

One person said: “You forgot to change him, burp him, read him a bedtime story.”

Another commented: “I’m not his mother. So nope.”

A third wrote: “Living in 1940 hun x.”

“But what is he doing for you?” asked someone else.

And when one woman asked, “Why do I need to wear dresses to please a man?” she said: “Men like them more.”

A different commenter said that even when women do follow this advice, it doesn’t always work.

“A lot of women do this and their men still don’t appreciate it,” they said.

And one husband added: “Yeah I’m not really into all that. My wife is my best friend, but she’s also my intellectual equal. And I feed her!”

Previously, Instagram model Monica Huldt was criticised for wanting to be a housewife and to take care of her husband instead of pursuing a career.

The 37-year-old who lives in Scottsdale, Arizona, claims the secret to a happy love life is for men to be dominant and women to adopt an old-school domestic role around the home.

However, this lifestyle isn’t to everyone’s taste as Monica revealed that her ex “wasn’t fond of that idea.”
