Turns any terminal emulator for X into quake-style console.
Similar to tilda/kuake/etc, but is’t terminal emulator by itself, qcon would use your favourite one, controlling it’s window position and state. It should work with most popular window managers / desktop enviroments.

У меня питон 2.6.5 (по умолчанию с ubuntu 10.04), для qcon обязательно нужно 2.5?
нет, просто deb сделан не совсем правильно, ставьте из tar.gz или “sudo easy_install qcon”
