ctrl+alt+click to open link in download manager
This extension requires external program chromeget.py to work. If you are using windows, download this version (includes python).
Save it somewhere, in your home folder for example and launch it with “python ~/chromeget.py download_manager”
Replace download_manager with your favourite download manager command(e.g. uget-gtk, gwget or kget).
For windows it will be something like: c:\somewhere\chromeget.exe “c:\program files\flashget\flashget.exe”
Too see if it works, launch it in a terminal(or cmd.exe) first. You may then want to put it to your window manager’s autostart.

had to rate this one 5 stars, all i wanted was something to let me run wget on urls and this is perfect. great if you could hide it on windows till a url was run but i like it all the same. on linux it’s the shizzet!
Hello! Could not make it to work in Ubuntu. I have uget intalled and when I do “python ~/chromeget.py uget-gtk” in the terminal it says: “launching http server on 127…” (ip address) and does nothing. Can somebody help me, please?
